Hunting Hill Mansion wedding photos. Mary Alice and Alex. My ‘opposite’ couple. And by opposite I mean Alex loves the camera and Mary…not so much. even though the camera loves her! lol. So this weekend found at us in Ridley Creek park at the mansion. The light was harsh, the people were cool and the photographers were ready for it all. It really was a great day and we were truly blessed to be a part of it. We didn’t get to do the 1st look and really, it didn’t matter. It made the walk down the isle truly special and I’m sure they felt the same way. The reception was, as my son would say “Cray, Cray”. Haha. And I even got a smooch from momma when I showed her a pic I caught , good stuff :). This was a really emotional, fun, wild wedding celebration and is one of the reasons I have the best job in the world and love it so much. Great people, real love, good times.
Mary Alice I never told you how much I love those chinese eyes. lol . You were so gorgeous on your day… You owned it! And Alex, dude, you should be in front of the camera more often! Hands down one of the best grooms I’ve shot this year. Your a model you just don’t know it. Haha

I know it isn’t the best light, etc.. But this is what happened when he saw her. It was wow. And special. Even in harsh light. 🙂 .
and then sh saw him.. this was a real 1st look.
He was shooting with a 1923 voigtlander..but of course it was the hair that led to me ‘click’ . lol
What characters.. love these 2!! I could shoot them forever.. if Mary Alice let me..lol j/k sweetie.
Their entrance was a little tricky. Tight squeeze..but they made ti through fine. lol
He made a bet to Mary to get Alex to cut his hair (see e-session) and gave her a cool G! Nice.
After thanking all, it was time to celebrate the marriage & this was seriously some of the best dancing I’ve seen from a group. Even the lil people. lol

Mary Alice and Alex you were a true pleasure . You celebrated the day the way you wanted and if I say so myself, it was a beautiful day for a wonderful couple captured by awesome photographers. lol. No seriously, you both were great, moms & dads and everyone that greeted us & allowed us to shoot them were great. It was just an all around great time & am so glad we were there to document it.
